Keyword Planner MCP – Google Ads Integration

Section updated: 19 October 2026. This section applies specifically to Upila’s Keyword Planner MCP application and its Google Ads integration. It supplements the website policy above and governs data handled by this application.

Information accessed and purpose

When you connect your Google account, the application uses Google OAuth to obtain permission to call the Google Ads API. It accesses the Google Ads accounts available to your connected account and processes the account identifiers, seed keywords, website URLs, language and location selections you supply to retrieve keyword ideas and historical keyword metrics, such as search volumes, competition and bid estimates. These features are used for keyword research and planning. The application does not create campaigns, change advertisements or spend advertising budgets.

Storage and security

The application stores a connection record associated with your authenticated application user and a Google OAuth refresh token on the server so that it can obtain access tokens for subsequent requests. Your Google password is not collected by the application. Access tokens are used to communicate with Google. Keyword results are returned to the requesting client; the application does not maintain a separate keyword-results database. Hosting infrastructure may process operational logs and technical information required to run the service.

AI assistants and service providers

When you invoke this integration from an AI assistant, the requested results are returned to that assistant for use in your conversation. For example, results requested through ChatGPT are processed by OpenAI; if a Claude connection is configured and used, results are processed by Anthropic. The relevant provider’s privacy policy and your account settings govern its handling of conversation data. Hosting providers process data needed to operate the application. Google OAuth tokens are used by the server for authentication and are not included in keyword tool results.

Retention, revocation and deletion

The connection record and refresh token remain stored to support the connection until removed or replaced. You can revoke the application’s Google access through the third-party connections controls in your Google Account. Revoking access prevents further authorized Google API access but does not itself delete the application’s stored connection record or copies already held in an assistant conversation. To request deletion of the stored application connection or ask a privacy question, contact support@upila.com. Manage conversation retention and deletion separately with the assistant provider.
